After Joshua Tree last year, my uncle suggested South Carlsbad State Beach so I made reservations. Unfortunately, he and his family were unable to join us so we made the best of it. I hope he feels better soon. We spent most of Saturday afternoon beach combing and skipping rocks. Later that evening, we roasted a gormet dinner consisting of chicken wrapped in peppers, baked potatoes, BBQ'd corn on the cobb, and baked apples for dessert. YUM! So when's the next trip? =)
